Production Support Technician, Central Staging - North Canton, United States - Diebold Nixdorf

Job DescriptionProvides ongoing support for an assigned team on our staging team. This role is vital to loading software and customer images on ATMs that come out of manufacturing. We also do minor hardware fixes, hardware swaps and decals if needed. This role will support the logistics team we also have in place that unpackages and repackage the ATMs.
ResponsibilitiesCompletes assigned production support tasks with accuracy, within expected timeframes to keep staging on schedule.

(Could include using hand tools, software installation, using warehouse equipment, and packaging and unpacking materials)Builds solid working relationships with production teams.

Asks pertinent questions and proactively seeks assistance as required.
Proficient in several specialized production support areas.
Participates in process improvement activities or projects.
May coach less experienced team members.
Adheres to health and safety guidelines.
QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Production Support.
Basic understanding of MS Windows Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work overtime, as required, even on short notice.
