    We are currently seeking Dialysis Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel nurse position in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent experience in acute care settings. Below are the necessary qualifications:

    • Prime dialyzer and bloodlines.
    • Document patients' medical data and vital signs.
    • Prepare dialysis equipment.
    • Supervise dialysis sessions.
    • Cannulate accesses.
    • Clean and dress temporary and permanent catheters.
    • Recognize abnormal reactions during dialysis and inform the appropriate medical staff.
    • Educate patients and their families on managing the illness.

    Dialysis Travel Nurses should have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop with ease. They should also be capable of lifting 20 pounds effortlessly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, particularly when moving or lifting patients. Given the fast-paced nature of the role, Dialysis RNs need to have strong stress management skills and be able to connect with individuals of various ages and backgrounds.

    Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years
