    Position Summary

    This position is part of the Products/Marketing Decision Management team. The teams mission is to use data and technology to optimize the banks marketing and products technology efforts to new and existing customers. We do this by developing reporting and visualizations leveraging internal and external data and conducting analysis projects for the teams in Marketing and products. Your work will also involve monitoring competitors, identifying trends, and translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

    This position will primarily be responsible developing accurate, automated, and efficient data models of complex key performance indicators using SAS, Python, SQL/Oracle and Tableau. This position will also assist with developing automated monitoring of the data model and will act as a technical mentor to level I and Level II analysts.

    Summary of Essential Job Functions

    • Responsible for utilizing SQL/Oracle, SSIS, SAS, Python, Tableau Prep or other ETL tools to automate data flows for reporting.
    • Assist with building and maintaining a data centric culture that is focused on accuracy and efficiency.
    • Mentor and teach other analysts on data wrangling.
    • Validate and document all queries and dashboards and assist with validation of other analysts work.

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or Masters degree and 2 years of experience.
    • Expertise using Tableau or Power BI.
    • Expertise in SQL/Oracle, SAS, Python, or other data querying tools.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
    • The ability to work on multiple projects at once while keeping stakeholders abreast of project status.
    • Superior verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
    • Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret, and evaluate financial time-series tracking reports are preferred.
