    The Position

    This position is responsible for ERP and business application support along with developing and testing business systems applications. Our department is focused on reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement. Candidates must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively.

    The ability to understand business data in databases and the ability to report and manipulate that data using SQL is desired. Object oriented programing experience is likewise necessary to create and maintain business tools.

    Responsibilities
    • Maintain existing Syteline ERP system and assist users with daily tasks.
    • Lead and mentor in troubleshooting encountered issues with existing business systems
    • Recommend creative but sound solutions to encountered issues or business requirements
    • Create and Maintain SQL reports and object oriented programs to address changing business needs.
    • Create and maintain documentation and user instructions on all business systems
    • Act as a team leader to upgrade and modernize business systems and software
    • Report on current projects, issue status reports, and account for time spent on tasks.
    • Interact with departmental management to report on status and improvement suggestions
    • Drive improvements in business efficiency and develop technical solutions.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in strategic objectives and departmental goals
    • Knowledge in a specialized area such as EDI, Business Intelligence, Project Management, etc.
    • Seek personal improvement and growth while training the user community on new and existing systems.
    Qualifications
    • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a business ERP environment
    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Object-Oriented scripting languages
    • Demonstrated experience with website coding (HTML & Ajax)
    • Proven experience to ERP systems such as Syteline, MS Dynamics, or other equivalents, and the improvement of them
    • Experience as a team member for ERP implementations or conversions
    • Good understanding of business organization concepts.
    • Good planning, organization and mentoring skills.
    • Good verbal and written communications skills.
    • Good Analytical skills
    • Ability to participate as a team member and leader in cross-functional teams.
