Job summary
This position is supervised by the relevant site Administrative Support Supervisor and is sometimes directed by the outpatient Medical Practitioners.The primary function of this position is to provide medical support to the outpatient nurse and medical practitioners. The Outpatient Nursing/Medical Assistant will perform duties within his/her scope of practice.+
Qualifications and Experience
+- Azara fingerprint/certified.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing OR certificate from Medical Assistant program.
Obtain client height and weight, temperature, abdominal girth, pulse
respirations,and blood pressures
document such in the medical record prior service with Behavioral Health Medical Practitioner (BHMP).
Distributes sample medications as ordered BHMP's, as evidenced documentation in the medical record
collects random urine drug screen/saliva tests.
