The Design Consultant plays a key role in driving sales and consistently providing an exceptional guest experience. This individual serves as a passionate ambassador for the Arhaus brand. Design Consultants leverage our sales approach to finalize transactions and are accountable for conducting business in line with all company standards, policies, and protocols. The Design Consultant prioritizes delivering an exceptional guest experience at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Meets monthly sales and productivity targets
Continuously enhances selling techniques following our sales model
Demonstrates extensive product knowledge
Maintains a guest book to manage, generate, and nurture business
Conducts proactive and consistent follow-up with guests pre and post-sale, as well as at delivery
Addresses guest concerns promptly
Conducts all opening and closing tasks as instructed
Executes all system functions accurately and upholds operational standards
Records all worked hours
Reviews and acts on all email and company communications
Participates in weekly one-on-one sessions and team meetings
Collaborates effectively with all team members

REQUIREMENTS

Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve sales objectives
Demonstrates a deep understanding and enthusiasm for company offerings
Strong organizational, time management, technological, and communication skills
Thrives both independently and collaboratively
Capable of delivering top-quality guest interactions
Prior sales skills, design sense, or related experience preferred
Professional in appearance and behavior
Flexible schedule to meet business needs (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

COMPENSATION

Hourly non-exempt position
Includes a minimum hourly base plus 1% commission (based on net WRITTEN sales for the month)
Eligible for Monthly Sales Incentives if targets are met
