    Description

    Essential Functions

    • Lead and execute interface projects using Rhapsody in SaaS environments, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
    • Design, develop, and maintain Rhapsody interfaces, focusing on SaaS-based deployment and management.
    • Collaborate with client IT departments to implement Rhapsody solutions effectively, optimizing for cloud environments.
    • Utilize deep knowledge of Rhapsody for complex integration projects, including custom scripting and data transformation.
    • Establish and promote best practices and standardized processes for Rhapsody interface development and implementation.
    • Conduct problem analysis and resolution specifically for Rhapsody interfaces, particularly in a SaaS context.
    • Test and validate Rhapsody interfaces, ensuring high performance and reliability in a cloud-based setting.
    • Provide expert-level Rhapsody support and guidance, both during implementation phases and in ongoing operations.

    Skills

    • Advanced proficiency in Rhapsody Integration Engine, especially in SaaS environments.
    • Strong background in HL7, FHIR, PL/SQL, C#, XML, JSON, XSLT; SQL knowledge is a plus.
    • Experience with connectivity methods (MLLP Sockets, FTP, file sharing.)
    • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems in Rhapsody engine & interface implementations.
    • Proficient in developing processes and best practices for Rhapsody interface implementation and maintenance.
    • Ability to read and modify programming code.
    • Able to ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, provide estimates of how much time is needed to complete own tasks, and deliver tasks on time.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: the ability to analyze and interpret data quickly and efficiently to resolve issues and/or design solutions.
    • Ability to proficiently manage numerous priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Support of software implementation project plan, hours tracking, and project line closures per Clinisys instructions.
    • Analyze and document interface specifications and implementation details as per Clinisys documentation requirements.

    Required Experience & Education

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Significant experience with Rhapsody may substitute for a degree.
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in interface engineering with a strong focus on Rhapsody, including implementation and maintenance in SaaS settings.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing best practices and standardized processes for Rhapsody interfaces.
    • Experience in the healthcare, laboratory, and/or scientific industry, with a focus on Rhapsody integrations, is highly desirable.
    • HL7 certification preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal health or safety hazards exposure. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine.
    • Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours; (if applicable use this)

    The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $84,000 to $114,400 for an annual base salary. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
