- Provide direct therapy assistance to students identified by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) following written therapy plans, IEPs or protocols developed by the SLP (See Arizona Department of Health Service guidelines for SLPAs.)
- Document student progress toward meeting established objectives as stated in the therapy plan, IEP or protocol and report this information to the SLP.
- Assist with informal documentation as directed by the SLP.
- Prepare and process record keeping and materials necessary for documentation to convey information to appropriate parties.
- Hold a valid SLPA license in the state of Arizona
- Hold a current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Maintain Continuing Education requirements, as per AzDHS )
