Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program Specialist with strong technical skills who can quickly learn IT concepts and apply them independently in a fast-paced technology-driven environment to build the enterprise-wide ITAM program.This role bridges hands-on technical knowledge with strategic coordination helping to design document mature asset lifecycle practices across hardware software.
The specialist will work alongside IT leadership ensuring asset data accuracy policy compliance efficient onboarding offboarding processes while following established SAM HAM workflows contributing to clear detailed process documentation.
Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware software assets using HAM/SAM tools ensuring real-time inventory accuracy data quality developing policies assisting shaping ITAM governance operational procedures collaborating internal external partners aligning strategy business goals translating requirements defined asset management processes supporting new employee onboarding workstation setup imaging computers orientation managing secure offboarding processes delivering metrics reporting actionable insights guiding strategic decisions taking ownership process documentation continuous improvement initiatives.
