The Director of Admissionsserves as a key member of the student services leadership team and providesstrategic planning, direction, and supervision of the admissions team andenrollment management efforts.

Essential Job Functions:
Strategic:
Partner with Enterprise Systems and Business Intelligence to secure data reports that outline enrollment trends by division, degree and major.
Develops, analyzes, implements, and manages a prospective student enrollment plan to process applications resulting in prospect conversion to enrolled student.
Works effectively and collaboratively with all segments of the university community to manage student admission related operations and initiatives.
Develops innovative proposals that engage the campus community in the new student onboarding process.
Articulates knowledge of academic policies and procedures to internal and external colleagues and university partners.
Serves as an institutional content expert on Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education policies and procedures related to student admission and retention.
Represent OSU-OKC on system-wide and state-wide committees and/or organizations in support of inter-institutional policies, agreements, data management and reporting.
Operational:
Effectively leads and supervises a professional Admissions staff, including but not limited to setting expectations and evaluating performance.
Administers Admissions budget.
Collaborates with other student services departments to develop, implement, and manage campus CRM initiatives and communications focused on student enrollment and retention.
Collaborates with campus partners to identify, develop, and review key performance indicators, standard operating procedures, and process documentation; exhibits an understanding to this position's role in the campus semester plans.
Responsible for the administration of departmental technologies, software, and student information system (Banner) modules.
Maintains understanding of and compliance with all state and federal laws, policies and procedures related to admissions, immigration, and enrollment.
Functional:
Oversees institutional compliance with in-state/out-of-state status policies and manages the petition process for student residency evaluation and reclassification.
Serves as the primary designated school official (PDSO) and assists international students in meetings and adhering to USCIS policy and regulations related to admission and OPT.
Maintain CRM system processes for all admissions functions.
Ensure that all modules are properly maintained and that processes are continuously streamlined.
Reporting:
Develops, analyzes, implements, and manages assessment practices and prepares customized reports.
Provides information required for various -external compliance reporting.
Coordinates the submission of specialized annual reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Work closely and collaboratively with partners on campus to ensure accuracy of reporting data and determining proper data reporting structures.
Completes all mandatory training and participates in a minimum of two professional development opportunities each year.5.
