    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Automotive Porter at Roswell Hyundai in Roswell, New Mexico.

    This is a Part-Time, hourly Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor position in the auto industry.

    As an Automotive Porter, you will be responsible for providing support to our service department by performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and cleanliness of our vehicle inventory.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This is a part-time position and the hours will vary based on dealership needs. Compensation will be hourly and based on experience. As a contractor, this role is not eligible for traditional benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.


    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all vehicles on the lot are clean and presentable for customers
    • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the service department and lot
    • Move vehicles to and from the service department as needed
    • Assist with moving and organizing new inventory as it arrives
    • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
    • Help with special projects or tasks as directed by management

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
    • Physical ability to move and lift vehicles as needed
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and to prioritize tasks
