Role Purpose Manager Accounting and Reporting participates in the day-to-day operations of the Studio Group Headquarters Controllership team and will assist in a wide range of accounting and consolidation matters for Film TV including supporting financial reporting obligations to NBCUniversal Corporate Comcast and external parties The role is in a fast-paced headquarters environment interfaces with teams domestically internationally has opportunities for growth This role will manage the Senior Financial Analyst Consolidation and Reporting report to the Director Consolidation and Reporting oversee Business Process Outsourcing provider work closely with broader Studio Group Controllership Finance teams Essential Responsibilities Operational Key contributor monthly quarterly close processes preparation review journal entries account reconciliations roll-forwards variance analyses schedules financial statement line items Responsible quarterly NBCU Corporate data requests individual preparation review submissions provided offshore business provider gathering consolidation information multiple business units Oversees cash receipts application DreamWorks Focus Features & NBCU Universal bank accounts reviews journal entries analysis prepared Senior Financial Analyst offshore business provider Monitor unclaimed cash Perform all Controllership responsibilities Peacock Kids production accounting journal entry preparation AP processing variance analysis cost oversight working closely with operators Act centre excellence support business units providing enforcing guidance best practices validating balances consolidated perspective investigating variances prior periods Coordinate oversee Studio Group adherence internal controls close requirements financial reporting deliverables Participate collaborate corporate driven initiatives process change across business significant emphasis next year SAP S4 platform Manage work performed outsourcing provider training review maintenance desktop procedures Proactively identify build efficiencies consistencies existing accounting reporting processes implement process improvements Collaborate broader Controllership groups process benchmarking FP&A period close status Participate ongoing learning cross-training opportunities Assist ad-hoc projects as needed People Leadership Develop maintain productive relationships cross-functional finance teams Contribute coaching developing Studio Group controllership staff professionally technically Cultivate inclusive environment staff produce high quality results actively involved process improvement share ideas
