- This Buyer role is responsible for working cross functionally with Materials Manager, Schedulers, Sales and Suppliers to place purchase orders for various metals.
- Help plan and implement sourcing allocation and lead times.
- Prepare and update various reports, including steel price, volume, blended vendor and monthly supplier evaluations.
- Problem-solve issues with suppliers and participate in supplier conference calls and meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task.
