We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Architect to join our growing team. The Data Architect will play a key role in shaping our data architecture and strategy, enabling us to build scalable and efficient solutions to support our business objectives. How you will help us grow:

Design, develop, and implement a flexible, scalable, and secure enterprise data architecture that supports high volume data ingestion, storage, and analytics.
Develop data models and schema designs optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Implement data pipelines and processes to extract, load, and transform data from various sources into a modern data warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data systems are servicing the needs of customers, internal product development, and business intelligence applications.
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to support data management, analytics, and visualization.
Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
Document technical designs, code, and processes for maintainability.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics and evaluate their potential impact on our business.

Experience you bring:

10+ years of professional experience working as a Data Architect or in a similar role, preferably in a startup or small company environment.
Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g.SQL, Python, R)
Strong proficiency in database design, data modeling, data architecture, and system security.
Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data integration tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Familiarity with geospatial data systems, standards, and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
