About the Job:

We are in need of an experienced Frame Carpenter. The candidate will be responsible for performing physical labor for a number of different tasks such as framing post frame and stick frame buildings/homes. Additional responsibilities may include finish carpentry, tile work, drywall, siding, roofing, and prep tasks for outside contractors such as plumbers, electricians and concrete. Job sites range anywhere west of Boise and up to the McCall area. Northern Idaho jobs will be reimbursable for travel. Random drug testing will be required. Lots of opportunity for growth

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical tasks associated with building construction projects.
• Perform basic math operations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers.
• Each job will vary. Having good framing and construction knowledge is required.
• Must pass drug test to start and pass continued random drug testing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of framing or finish carpentry experience.
• Knows framing codes in Idaho. Oregon code would be nice but not required.
• Ability to and willingness to learn even with having a good foundation of knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (100 lbs. or more).
• Ability to climb ladders and work on unstable surfaces.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
• Ability to work in windy conditions.
• Ability to work in bright sunshine.
• Ability to work long periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to operate various hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Pay is negotiable and will depend on experience.
