Embedded Security Engineer - Hybrid - Seattle, Washington

The salary base is approximately $130K170K (dependent on experience), plus an employee stock option plan and additional benefits (401K, etc.).

You MUST be an American citizen or a Green Card Holder.

You MUST have 3+ years of experience as a security engineer.

The client, based in Seattle, seeks a Security Engineer with Embedded Systems experience. The expectation is to go into the office at the beginning with the option of becoming fully remote later.

Job Requirements

Experience performing offensive security assessments of embedded

systems

Ability to perform entry point analysis and threat model to focus assessments

Understanding of common embedded operating systems

Ability to perform low-level C code review (security-focused)

Firmware reverse engineering (ARM, x86, unpacking of firmware/update

images)

Working understanding of cryptography (algorithm choice and use)
