- Participate in the negotiation of contracts for energy services and renewable energy projects and provide advice with respect to ongoing management of projects under construction or in operation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate professional services, energy services, and implementation services contracts, financing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Review existing agreements to ensure compliance with all contract provisions as well as administration of corporate policies and standards.
- Review and analyze financial and contractual aspects of proposals, offers, and contracts.
- Collaborate with management to support risk management strategies related to insurance coverage, proper contract language, and development of policies and procedures. - Master's degree in legal studies or J.D. or other advanced degree in the field.
- Minimum 8 years of transactional legal experience in corporate or commercial in-house legal function or law firm.
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
- Travel may be required from time to time
- Expertise in renewable energy project development preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills while working with C-suite and board-level executives.
- Effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities, including managing multiple enterprise contract negotiations.
- Strong business acumen, curiosity, and delivery-oriented attitude.
