- Provide feedback to the Executive Director, or assigned personnel, regarding the patient's status or surroundings following the Care Management protocol as required.
- Offer aid with various ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) during each patient interaction: assisting with mobility, transfers, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding, or toileting.
- Perform incidental household tasks crucial for the patient's at-home healthcare, conducting necessary household duties to delay or prevent institutionalization.
- Contribute to the Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan or process by identifying issues and reporting to the administrator regularly or when necessary.
- Must possess a reliable mode of transportation.
- License Requirements
- Successful completion of a competency assessment before engaging in direct patient care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- MO: Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). If not a CNA, must pass the Missouri Written Aide Competency Exam and Basic Skills Test.
- Must demonstrate maturity and the ability to effectively handle the responsibilities of a hospice aide role.
- Capable of reading, writing, and executing instructions promptly and accurately.

As a Hospice Aide/CNA, your role includes:

As a Hospice Aide, you will deliver direct personal patient care services under the guidance and constant supervision of a registered nurse, following the established Plan of Care on a daily basis.
