    Mammography Technologist

    Staten Island, NY

    At New York Imaging (NYI), we are at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, led by a team of skilled radiologists and technologists working together in avant-garde facilities to provide top-notch patient care. With state-of-the-art imaging technologies and a strong focus on collaboration, we offer precise diagnostic solutions that pave the way for effective treatment.     In this position, you will:

    • Conduct routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.
    • Assist in stereotactic biopsies.
    • Manage inventory and procure supplies.
    • Demonstrate tact, courtesy, and poise in explaining procedures to patients, easing anxieties, and gaining patient cooperation.
    • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
    • Adjust equipment settings to capture high-quality images.
    • Process and review images for proper identification and quality assurance.
    • Implement radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
    • Train and onboard new team members.
    • Perform other relevant duties as required.

    We are looking for individuals with:

    • Valid licensure from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Minimum of three (3) years of consistent experience in Mammography
    • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Proficiency in computer skills.
    • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a bonus.
    All positions are during daytime on weekdays.

    Compensation up to $55 per hour.
