    Donaldson is looking for a Product Specialist I to be focused on the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. This role resides under Donaldson's global Engineering Business Processes (EBP) team reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). This opportunity is an enterprise impacting role that will allow you to contribute to almost every Donaldson business unit around the globe. You will not only help the business manage our engineering change process of today, but you will be a key contributor in the definition and refinement of our business processes and tools of tomorrow.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate cross functional execution of change management processes to ensure validation and implementation is complete in a reliable and timely manner.
    • Establish and maintain standards, procedures of work, and ensure proper procedures are followed to maintain data integrity of all engineering records.
    • Develop, manage, and maintain Product Data Management (PDM) systems and databases, i.e. Part Numbering systems, Business Operating Systems, etc.
    • Recommend and implement enhancements to the PLM processes including utilizing technology to gain efficiencies and eliminate redundancies.
    • Review/audit new product releases and documents, and product change proposals for acceptability, accuracy, and completeness against established standards for release into the PDM system.
    • Participate in team meetings by tracking and reporting out key performance indicators (KPIs)

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in business, technical, or related field (will consider Associate's Degree + 3 years relevant experience)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with business process development, data analysis, project management, or product management
    • Proficient in MS office applications
    • Knowledge of industrial or manufacturing processes
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings & bills of materials
