    Job Description:


    A Quality Assurance Engineer at The Lee Company is broadly responsible for activities that support the Quality Management System and related Quality Objectives.

    A QAE at The Lee Company utilizes their diversified skillset to support the Quality Management System while driving Continuous Improvement.


    Beneficial Qualifications:
    B.S./A.S. degree in Engineering or similar discipline with at least three years related experience in quality control/quality assurance/manufacturing.
    Quality systems knowledge including ISO9001/AS9100/PPAPs
    Knowledge of gage calibration, SPC, geometric tolerancing, inspection methods, MRB, corrective action resolution, first article inspection and others.
    Able to work in and lead cross functional teams to perform APQP activities.
    Demonstrated proficiency in using statistical process control systems, performing MSA studies, and performing root cause investigations.
    Experience with machining and/or other manufacturing operations and inspection

    Responsibilities:
    Perform gage R&Rs, create Inspection plans, lead APQP teams organizing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAPs.
    Complete Root Cause Analysis and support implementation of Corrective Actions.
    Work with industry standards and specifications to improve and control the quality of the products.
    Conduct Internal Audits in support of the Quality Management System.
    Coordinate and guide the installation of new or enhanced methods and systems.
    Monitor the day-to-day Quality Management System operation and adjust or modify, as required, to improve quality and reduce costs.
    Create Work Instructions and contribute to Quality Policy enhancement.
