Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Linux systems and scripting to support multiple system architectures within a high-performance computing environment.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience with Linux systems
Shell scripting (Bash)
Experience with C / compiling C programs
Familiarity with Python
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics or 3+ years of industry or relevant hands-on experience

Preferred Skills:

Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
Hardware and Software Integration

Responsibilities:

Support multiple system architectures and infrastructure within a high-performance computing environment.
Collaborate with other systems engineers to design and implement procedures for identifying and correcting system failures and user issues.
Work within a small team of system engineers and administrators to bring online new HPC systems and maintain existing ones.

Additional Information: This is a hybrid position, potentially requiring one day per month onsite in Holyoke MA, all other days remote. Candidates need to be local/able to travel to Holyoke as needed. Travel is estimated at 5%. The interview process includes an initial pre-screen with the Hiring Manager followed by additional interviews with team members if advanced to the next round.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
