- Adjunct faculty teaching is limited to a maximum of 8 credit hours in the summer semester, 12 credit hours in the fall semester, and 12 credit hours in the spring semester within Virginia's Community Colleges (VCCS).
- Additional restrictions may apply based on other positions held within VCCS.
- Providing traditional delivery instruction at Chester or Midlothian campus.
- Teaching courses such as General Chemistry I & II, Survey of Chemistry, College Chemistry I & II, and more.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
- Ability to integrate instructional technologies.
