Accounting ManagerFull-Time, ExemptLocation:
Scottsdale, AZAs the Accounting Manager you will manage transactions including banking transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end entries and have a strong knowledge of accounting principles.
The company is in heavy growth mode, having completed an acquisition in Q4 of 2023 and in the process of another.
Responsibilities:
Financial reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Utilize software to manage accounting functions, streamline processes, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Month-End Close:
Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate on budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and assist in audit preparations
Process Improvement:
identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist with the day-to-day AP and AR transactionsRequired Skills and Experience: Proven experience: 5+ years accounting or in a similar role.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.NetSuite software experience preferred.
Excellent Excel skills.
CPA certification preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principals.
M&A experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
