Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at BlazerWorks located in Allentown, PA. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for working with students with disabilities in a middle school setting. This includes creating individualized education plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other members of the school staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching students with disabilities in a middle school setting
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans
• Experience in assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Patience and empathy for students with special needs
• Valid teaching certification in special education or related field
• Master's degree in Special Education is a plus
