    This critical position provides a unique opportunity to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
    Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications The ideal candidate has experience supporting the NRO and is familiar with the issues related to Operations and Facilities across the NRO enterprise

    The candidate will be part of the Management Services & Operations (MS&O) / Chief Architect and Systems Engineer (CASE) office.


    • Provide Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) and advisory support in a dynamic, high-paced environment
    • Provide technical support, guidance and analysis in the design and execution phases for projects changing infrastructure baselines
    • Participate in numerous meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams, product reviews, and status meetings to monitor the systems engineering plans, development, and deployment of systems that impact MS&O equities
    • Support Enterprise Reviews and conduct product reviews and assessments as well as generate briefing materials in support of Program / System Lifecycle Events
    • Review non-facilities baseline change requests to identify and ensure facilities equities are addressed while supporting engineering review boards
    • Provide support in assessing, analyzing, mitigation, and managing system and project risks
    • Conduct Request for Change (RFC) and Facilities Requirements Definition (FRD) reviews and assessments in support of program or project integration as well as assisting stakeholders in the development of RFCs and FRDs for new programs and projects
    • Review and update Systems Engineering and Integration standards, governance and policy
    Train new team members on Systems Engineering processes Required Qualifications:


    • U.S
    Citizen


    • Bachelor's degree in STEM field
    • Possess an active and current TS/SCI with CI/Polygraph
    • Three (3) years or more of relevant IC systems engineering experience
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issues
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
    • Must have strong communications skills, written and oral, and be able to work across various levels of leadership as well as across other SE teams and offices.
    Must be able to 'connect the dots' to understand big picture issues and reach consensus across different Directorates, Offices, and Organizations Desired Qualifications:


    • Intelligence Community familiarity, and depth
    • Experience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Configuration/Change Control, Quality Engineering, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, VV&T, etc.).
    • Working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with change management processes (e.g., RFC or Change Request process).
    • Be conversant with host site offices and divisions and tenants
    • Leadership ability to interact with Seniors and Juniors to manage Configuration Management processes and requirements
    • Experience with performance metrics Deliverable(s) Deliverables will include reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government.
