    JOB DESCRIPTION


    The
    Transportation Customer Service Representative is responsible in ensuring satisfaction in responding to customers needs and requests, in addition to booking and coordinating of freight to meet company efficiency goals.


    Job Summary:


    The Customer Service Representative is responsible in ensuring satisfaction in responding to customers needs and requests, in addition to booking and coordinating of freight to meet company efficiency goals.


    Shift: 1st; Monday-Friday 7:00AM- 4:00PM

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates all customer requirements for daily workload, including driver assignments, loading and unloading requirements and daily customer commitments for priority
    • Schedule appointment times for freight. Contact customers and let them know what we can schedule and what we cant within their constraints
    • Coordinates scheduling changes and updates required internal and external contacts.
    • Monitors service for assigned accounts
    • Responsible for the transactions of daily tendersEDI
    • Coordinates pre-book/overbook freight
    • Coordinates and completes data entry
    provides modification and corrections

    • Provides necessary information to customers in a timely fashion
    • Oversees the success and timely reporting status on all loads
    • Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with customers
    • Develops proficiency in company specific business scheduling and tracking software
    • Other duties as needed

    Job Related & Physical Requirements:

    • Ability and availability to work flexible hours as needed

    Experience, Education, and Training:

    • Computer applications proficiency in MS Office
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
