    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive ministry trucks to donor locations and collect donated items.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
    • Carry out other duties as assigned by the team.

    Job Requirements:

    • Daily inspection of the truck using a standardized DOT inspection form.
    • Operate the vehicle to acquire donations for the ministry, following established quality standards.
    • Assess donations for acceptance based on WRMs quality standards.
    • Load and unload donations efficiently, minimizing damage to items.
    • Communicate professionally with donors and customers.
    • Maintain accurate daily reports on vehicle routes and donation collections.
    • Presentation: maintain professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: keep the truck in good condition, including equipment such as straps, dollies, and furniture covers.
    • Customer Service: provide excellent service while assisting customers.
