    Operations Coordinator

    • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Pay Rate: $22+/hr
    • Location: Whippany, NJ
    • Experience: 1-2 years

    We are excited to share a new opportunity PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to find an Operations Coordinator to work for a Whippany-based company. As the Operations Coordinator, you will assist in the overall Supervision of the mail sorting and logistics facility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Drive a culture of Accuracy and Efficiency with actions and words, daily.
    • Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities to meet the required daily, weekly and monthly logistics and operations goals.
    • Knowledge and understanding of MS-Excel and shipping software (UPS, DHL. FedEx). Ability to process shipments regularly.
    • Complete all requires Documentation for international shipments.
    • Collaborate and communicate professionally and courteously with vendors, customer service representatives and others involved in the shipment and receipt of product about information related to shipments
    • Compile Vendor Rates in MS-Excel worksheets.
    • Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments daily.
    • Schedule pickups with freight carriers
    • Assist in recording of daily delivery details for inbound shipments
    • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Sales and Customer Service as needed on logistics processes/ quality issues.
    • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.
    • Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
    • Work on holidays and/or weekends per business need
    • Participate in continuous improvement teams.
    • Assist in overall Supervision of mail sort and logistics facility
    • Assist in Training employees as needed
    • Record and report Weekly payroll numbers for Temp Agencies

    QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS):

    • 3 years or more in relevant area
    • Associate degree
    • International Shipping Experience is Preferred
    • Knowledge of MS-Access is a Plus
