The pay range provided is algorithmic and for generalized comparison. Factors to determine rate of pay include skills, work location, experience, and other individualized factors.

JOB SUMMARY

Drivers run daily routes with stops, loading packages onto hand trucks, and unloading products at each stop following the assigned route order by the Transportation Department Manager. The driver works away from OpCo at a domiciled location closer to the customer's marketplace. The position involves delivering customer-facing tasks, cross-docking truck models, and assisting with loading, palletizing, and other assigned duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload and place products in designated storage areas, including transporting down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push, or move products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds. Reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and carts. Bend, twist, load, and unload products.
• Verify deliveries and obtain proper signatures from customers. Contact management for authorization in case of discrepancies or errors.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure equipment safety following rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities, operate the truck efficiently, and check truck conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High School or GED or equivalent

Experience

• One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
• Valid Commercial Driver's License – Class B (Class A preferred)
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Professional Skills

• Operate vehicle in various conditions.
• Meet or exceed productivity levels. Demonstrate customer relations, problem resolution, and organizational skills. Communicate effectively and handle money if required.
• Build customer loyalty, manage work, adapt, build trust, follow up, and communicate.

Physical Demands

• Lift products up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequently to 80 lbs. Climb on/off the truck box, bend, squat, push, pull, and work in confined spaces.
