Chassis Validation Engineer

to join our Product Architecture and Validation team.

You will work closely with our Battery Electric and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle systems teams to Validate our Battery Electric and Fuel Cell powered Class 8 Havey Truck products.

of fueling sources (Electric and Hydrogen)
Lead

the following chassis systems

Handling
Ride

AEBS
Benchmark

Nikola system performance against the competition.
Subjectively evaluate

system readiness for production
Execute

Regulatory Compliance testing

(FMVSS121 and 136)

Qualifications

BSME or

equivalent
Years of experience 5+

Chassis

Testing

and Development
Electric Vehicle/Fuel Cell Vehicle Testing Experience a

plus

HV
system experience a plus
Familiarity with DFMEA process
Familiarity with CANalyzer or similar CAN bus analysis tools
Solid understanding of system/component design/development processes
CDL Class A or

B plus

, will train
Proving Ground Driver

Skill

Rating

or Tier

(SAE J3300 or equivalent)
Knowledge of ADAS Systems
Proficient in requirement management tools such as JAMA or Doors
Must be able to travel abroad or local test sites in North America on a short

notice
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
