Aureon Consulting has a great client in the Agriculture industry with an immediate need for an experienced Data Scientist. We need a Data Scientist with demonstrated expertise in training and evaluating transformers such as BERT and its derivatives. This is a contract position that requires reporting to on office 3 days a week in Indianapolis, IN OR Des Moines, Iowa. Candidates must be located in OR willing to be in one of these locations on day 1 of the assignment.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Improve the genomics LLMs for gene expression profiling by incorporating new sequencing data types, adopting new foundation models, and applying new finetuning techniques in LLMs.

Develop the Generative AI tool for automated genome editing design based on the improved LLM.

Required:

• Proficiency with Python, pyTorch, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Jupyter. Expertise in Deep Learning, Transformers, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models

Preferred:

• Experience with genomics data, molecular genetics. Distributed computing tools like Ray, Dask, Spark.
