    Day Shift, 8 Hour Shift

    The manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or group of patient care units within Nursing Services. Responsible for all clinical and operational activities in alignment with the client's mission, vision, and values.

    • Ensure continuous patient care provision 24/7, oversee clinical operations, coordinate daily patient care activities in collaboration with the healthcare team, and uphold professional and regulatory care standards.
    • Establish and enforce patient care and nursing practice standards, develop and monitor unit-based quality improvement programs, and set unit-based goals for delivering high-quality patient care.
    • Ensure departmental compliance by evaluating patient care delivery, reinforcing positive outcomes, and addressing identified issues promptly.
    • Advocate for patients, address ethical and legal concerns, and promote cultural sensitivity.
    • Boost staff retention by monitoring turnover rates, implementing retention strategies, and maintaining clinical skills through active involvement in patient care.
    • Maintain clinical competence, conduct educational programs, address grievances, and collaborate with clinical specialists for staff development.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree: BSN from an accredited school of nursing, or ADN with a commitment to obtain BSN within two years.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
    • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in related clinical area of nursing.
    • Meet Registered Nurse criteria.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
    • First-line management experience.
