Position Summary

To setup and operate machining to perform required machining operations

Responsibilities


Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate cylinder body lathe and saw equipment.

Perform daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, and positioning work area.

Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Perform visual inspection of parts and reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.

Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.

Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles.

Clean equipment and work area.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D

3-5 years of previous machining experience preferred

Basic computer skills required

Basic math skills required

Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required

Basic blueprint understanding required

Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
