About Team & About Role:
Rubrik is seeking a Senior Sales Planning Analyst to join the Sales Planning & Analytics team, who will serve as a strategic thought partner to finance, sales, and operational teams to transform our sales planning strategy and processes into a robust and scalable system.
This role will drive Rubrik's recurring (bi-annual) planning process for the Global Sales organization and will be a key member of a team of dynamic, analytical problem-solvers that take on highly complex projects in a cross-functional environment.
You will oversee all aspects of sales planning, connecting the dots between short-term operational tasks and targets to long-term financial goals.
You will work with leadership and cross-functional partners on a global scale to design and implement innovative, analytically driven GTM initiatives, metrics for success and territory coverage models across the entire Sales organization.
Qualified candidates will need to effectively navigate & interface with multiple levels of the Sales organization to properly set revenue targets and implement territory coverage models that are both standardized and customized to regional markets.
What you'll do:
GTM Planning:
Drive recurring (bi-annual) planning activities such as quota modeling & assignment, headcount allocation, territory & capacity planning, customer segmentation and coverage model design
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with Sales Leadership and Finance to define sales coverage for each segment, including recommending required headcount & headcount ratios of overlay roles to drive optimal territory coverage across the Sales organization
Business Insights:
Assess key performance metrics, develop reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations
Plan Execution:
Work in close partnership with the Field Operations and Sales Compensation teams; implement & maintain ongoing quota distribution processes to facilitate efficient ICP issuance & mid-cycle changes
Experience you'll need:
You have extensive experience initiating and completing analytical projects. You take a structured approach to solving unique business problems by manipulating and analyzing large data sets (Advanced SFDC & Excel/Google Sheets modeling knowledge required, Tableau experience a plus)
You can dive into the weeds and come back up for the "big picture". You are comfortable synthesizing intricate datasets and insights into a clear, cohesive narrative and capable of communicating it across different levels of management
You possess strong project management skills. You have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, rapidly prioritize tasks, and remain flexible and agile to evolving business demands
You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You're a pragmatic problem solver with a bias for action and passionate about driving business outcomes at the ground level
The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits.
Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range$108,200-$162,400 USD
