POSITION SUMMARYA successful Warehouse Associate is responsible for transporting packages and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations. Warehouse drivers strictly follow route sheets to avoid delays in the delivery . At a minimum, the position requires good organizational skills as this person will be doing inventory along with delivery of those items.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCompletes shipments by processing and loading orders.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from designated sites.
Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Provides quality service by following organization standards.
Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Completes reports by entering required information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

SKILLS AND ABILITIESAt least one year of Forklift experienceGood organizational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and record inventory intakeStrong work ethic, leads by example and does what it takes to get the job doneProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various other software programs for data entryAbility to communicate with clarity at the frequencies required by management and customersAbility to travel to multiple sites as requiredWork independently with minimal supervision
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMust be 21 or olderAble to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely mannerValid drivers license and excellent driving recordMust be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background checkHigh School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSBi-lingual (Spanish/English)Forklift experienceValid CDL
