    Day 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

    Job Responsibilities:
    Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality X-ray images for physician interpretation

    Operate radiographic imaging equipment to perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations

    Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety

    Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to imaging procedures

    Maintain radiation safety standards and apply proper shielding techniques to protect patients and staff

    Prepare and position imaging equipment and ensure proper exposure settings for each examination

    Assist physicians and medical staff during imaging procedures when required

    Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any patient care needs

    Maintain accurate documentation and update imaging records within the electronic medical record system

    Ensure images are properly transferred and stored in the PACS system for radiologist review

    Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and radiology equipment

    Follow infection control guidelines and proper PPE protocols during all procedures

    Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care

    Provide imaging support for various patient populations as needed

    Maintain equipment functionality and report any equipment issues to appropriate personnel


    Required Skills & Experience:
    Minimum

    1–2 years of X-ray technologist experience

    in a hospital or clinical setting

    Experience performing

    routine diagnostic radiography procedures

    Strong knowledge of

    radiographic positioning and imaging techniques

    Ability to maintain

    radiation safety standards and patient protection protocols

    Experience working in a

    fast-paced radiology department

    Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards

    Strong communication and patient care skills


    Required Certifications & Licensure:
    ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiography)

    AHA BLS – Basic Life Support

    Ohio State Radiologic License (must be obtained prior to start)
