Come Fly with UsJob descriptionSupervisor, Manufacturing EngineeringThe ME Supervisor will supervise a team of Manufacturing Engineers across multiple shifts supporting the Shop Floor and site.

The ME Supervisor will work cross-functionally with Safety, Manufacturing, Industrial, and Quality Engineering departments, as well as Supply Chain Management to define the best build processes to meet the strictest of Safety and aerospace quality standards, at the most affordable price.

This position reports directly to the Sr.

Manager, Production Engineering and will have supervisory/ management duties such as manpower planning, budgeting, interviewing, appraisals, and disciplinary actions per the approved Daher processes and procedures.

Job DutiesCreate and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement within the teamsIdentify changes needed within the department to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and increase Work Instruction and MBOM quality, accuracy, and speedFoster a culture of teamwork between the individual teams as well as across Production Engineering and the site working in an IPT formatLeadership will be primarily strategic (>75%) with some tactical (<25%) guiding your teams to perform at the highest levels while maintaining SQDCTWeekly one-on-one meetings with direct reportsMonthly skip-levelsQuarterly 360deg.

reviewsDeveloping and managing KPI's across the teams related to SQDCTLead and perform mid-year and year-end appraisals/ reviews focusing on Daher "Competencies" as well as a developed measurable SMART goals approach to setting/ measuring goals, employee ratings, rankings, and compensation increases removing the subjectivity usually seen in employee reviewsJoin Daher to...Integrate a family group with a long-term vision Make a difference in a developing companyDevelop new skills thanks to the diversity of your missions Take part in a human and industrial adventure full of challengesInnovate and think outside the box by integrating a stimulating environmentProfile and other information related to the positionQualificationsBS or higher in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university, or a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of education10+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and leading an aerospace ME Department in heavy aerospace fabrication and assembly in a matrixed organization, is requiredExperience in multiple methods of manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication, i.e., forming, bending, drilling, reaming, power-feed tooling, and small-to-large, simple-to-complex assemblies with standard aerospace tolerances, is requiredExperience directing the design, fabrication, installation, inspection/ certification, and maintenance of small-to-large, simple-to-complex assembly and detail part tooling, is requiredPrevious experience at a greenfield or brownfield start-up for a large aerospace structures manufacturer or OEM is requiredExperience using ERP and PLM software is required; SAP and Teamcenter Manufacturing, Bill of Process, etc.
