    Description

    A client in the Louisville, KY area is looking for a float/travel Allergy Technician to join their team for 6-month contact to hire opportunity.

    This person will start at the Breckenridge location and be responsible for rendering professional clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physicians and/or allergy department coordinator.

    This candidate will float/travel to the other facilities within the Louisville area to assist where needed engaging in the same day to day functions.

    This position requires an especially detail-oriented and flexible person.

    The Allergy Technician must learn and exhibit skills necessary to perform allergy testing, give allergy injections, and mix allergy serum.

    They'll be mixing and preparing allergy vials for injections, testing, and treating patients for allergy related problems. This candidate will need to have good foundational knowledge of ENT, diseases, treatments, medications, and their purposes.

    Required Skills & Experience

    1-2 years of Medical Assistant/Veterinary Tech experience

    High school diploma/equivalent

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    MA Certification

    Phlebotomy Certification

    Medical Scribe experience
