    STATUS:

    Non-Exempt, Full-Time

    REPORTS TO:

    Director of Licensing

    LOCATION:

    In-Office San Diego, CA

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Associates degree and/or bachelors degree in Business Admin, Communications, or related field preferred and/or real-life work experience.
    • At least one year or more of administrative experience with a proven track record in managing and handling multiple projects and prioritizing details.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize details.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office software suite, Internet, and proficient data-entry skills
    • Proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in the workplace.
    • Willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced industry.
    • Knowledge of apparel industry and trends desired, but not required.
    • Knowledge of social media channels and passionate about pop culture a plus
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Act as a contact for license approvals, sales updates and submissions of concepts,
      pre-production and production samples to licensors.
    • Ensure all physical samples are logged, tracked and organized to increase efficiencies and minimize waste
    • Adherence to all aspects of licensing compliance as it relates to product approvals, product testing and contractual obligations.
    • Responsible for trims, branding and trademark accuracy on all designs
    • Follow procedures when releasing new or updated art to sales or design.
    • Manages all license approvals and licensor comments in asset management system (Nuxeo).
    • Communicates with Licensing Manager and Design Department regarding design rejections/
    revisions, rush submissions and outstanding submissions.
    • Account management for assigned account license list.
    • Submit work orders for revisions and sample requests.
    • Develop sense of ownership for account list and projects.
    • Perform work within many software applications including FileMaker, Adobe Creative Suite,
    Microsoft Office, Trello and Nuxeo. *Training will be available for all new software applications
    • Takes actions to correct errors and shares ideas about improving processes.
    • Follow through on projects for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Learn, understand, and follow departmental procedures.
    • Attend and participate in department meetings.
    • Flexible and positive team player.
    • Ability to adapt to multiple projects in any given workday.
