    Description
    The Mortgage Escrow Manager will handle the day-to-day functions of the Escrow and Loan Document department for agency loans.

    This includes boarding new loans on the servicing core system, processing disbursements, and maintaining appropriate insurance and tax coverage on loans.

    Reviews procedures and processes to ensure compliance with federal, state and agency guidelines and prepares and executes process improvements. Adhering to the Company's policies and supporting Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.

    Responsibilities

    :

    Lead, supervise, and develop loan operations staff.
    Responsible for ensuring acceptable insurance coverage, escrow administration, documentation preparation and recording. PMI/MIP maintenance and cancellation.

    Assist with servicing issues identified by business assessments, in addition to issues identified by business partners (Compliance, Operations) Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed and provide analytical support to Servicing Manager.

    Perform audits/self-assessments related to key functions/areas within servicing and provide reporting to management based on the results of the assessments performed.

    Adjusts, corrects, and changes records within defined authority, and/or escalates to the appropriate level for resolution using the authority matrix.

    Capable of backing up and supporting all aspects of the department
    Qualifications & Skills

    :

    Education:

    High School diploma or higher. Prefer college degree
    6+ years of mortgage experience required. Prefer progressive experience in single family loan servicing environment.
    Extensive knowledge around FNMA/FHLMC, FHA and VA, USDA guidelines
    4+ years of relevant customer service experience.
