    Job Description:

    Walden Family Services, a well-established Foster/Adoption agency, is seeking a compassionate full-time social worker (bilingual skills are a plus) for their Riverside Office. The selected candidate will oversee cases across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, providing care and support to families and youth in foster care. Responsibilities include ensuring the well-being of children enrolled in Walden Family Services' programs by collaborating with foster families, adoptive families, and other relevant individuals.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in social work is a must
    • Experience in child and adolescent services
    • Familiarity with Community Care Licensing Regulations is preferred
    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
    • Clearances from the Department of Justice
    • Compliance with Community Care Licensing requirements
    • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

    Employee Status: Exempt

    Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience

    Primary Supervisor: Social Work Supervisor

    Secondary Supervisor: Program Director

    Description of Position:

    The Social Worker will collaborate with various stakeholders to help children achieve their treatment goals within a supportive environment.

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include:

    • Understand and adhere to all relevant manuals, statements, and agency policies
    • Conduct intake meetings and develop treatment plans
    • Regularly review progress and update reports
    • Provide support, case management, and necessary referrals
    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations
    • Facilitate trainings and support groups
    • Handle crisis intervention and on-call duties
    • Maintain a positive representation of Walden Family Services
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in social work or related field
    • Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record
    • Clearances from the Department of Justice
    • Compliance with Community Care Licensing requirements

    Physical Demands:

    The role involves various physical activities and frequent travel

    Work Environment:

    The work environment includes moderate noise levels and exposure to outside weather conditions
