Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Deputy Warden, performs a variety of assignments with a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks.

LAC is approximately forty-five (45) minutes North of Valencia, Ca, which is home to Six Flags Magic Mountain and is approximately an hour and twenty (20) minutes North from Downtown Los Angeles/ Hollywood.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. Additional information regarding acceptable typing tests is available at the website.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/ evaluation thereafter.
