    Chobani's Category Development Managers work with category, consumer and shopper insights data to create a clear direction for the category that aligns customer and Chobani strategies.

    As a key member of the sales team, this role contributes to driving company sales and profits and to gaining advantage over competitors by driving strategic insights and valuable tools/programs to drive increased performance for designated brands at retail.

    Responsibilities Role will be part of the Emerging Channels team playing a key role in developing and cultivating business relationships with Whole Foods, Amazon, Sprouts, and Cub - account coverage subject to change based on business needsEmploy critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recognize issues and opportunities, elevating analyses beyond reporting and translating insights into retail actionLeverage data from multiple sources to create impactful selling stories that identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps (i.e.

    distribution, assortment mix, incrementality, size, shelving, placement)Develop content for retailer/channel specific presentations that include relevant consumer insights, analysis of the competitive landscape, and new item/category selling resourcesCreate customer centric planogram & assortment recommendations that are grounded in data and insightsFocus on continuing to improve tools, templates, and processes that enable the team to increase efficiency in performing their job requirementsProvide ongoing trend analysis (business performance and drivers) to seize value-creating opportunities that improve overall category performance or to correct category issues as neededContribute to the customer planning cycle by providing knowledge of category and shopper trends, competitive issues, and assortment opportunitiesConduct post promotion analysis to improve the return on investment and effectiveness of trade promotionsDevelop strong working relationships with retailers' Category Management teamProvide necessary summaries and important trend updates to key internal collaboratorsPerform other duties as necessaryRequirements Bachelor's degree required3-5 years consumer packaged goods category management experienceHigh level of proficiency in working directly with headquarter level customersStrong and validated leadership skillsStrong cross-functional exposure / experienceHighly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environmentHighly organized with the ability to lead multiple projects against deadlinesProficient with reporting systems including Nielsen and SPINS, as well as planogram software including Blue Yonder/JDAProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategiesWillingness to travelAbout UsChobani is a food maker with a mission of making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people, while elevating our communities and making the world a healthier place.
