    Front Desk & Safety Coordinator

    Union Settlement is a pioneering nonprofit organization founded in 1895. For over 128 years, it has provided innovative programming to children, youth, families, and older adults.

    Today, Union Settlement offers services through 33 program sites across approximately 28 locations. Its core programs include Early Childhood Education, Youth Services after-school programs), Family Services the Family Enrichment Center and the Family Childcare Network), East Harlem Community Partnership Adult Education Mental Health Services Older Adult Centers Economic Development). Each year,


    • The Front Desk & Safety Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for visitors staff participants ensuring a safe welcoming environment providing professional reception services while managing phone operations facility access protocols maintaining active safety presence per organizational policies state security requirements.

    • This role delivers exceptional customer service responding appropriately to potential risks high-traffic community setting.


      • Greet visitors professionally maintain visitor logs sign-in procedures identification verification required provide support lobby operations deliveries mail distribution appointment coordination uphold organizational values courteous community-centered atmosphere,
