    DUTIES:
    Participate in Cloud Engineering strategy, planning, and implementation.

    Define, implement, manage, and continuously improve Moody's cloud implementations.

    Provide leadership that focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining high caliber talent.

    Help manage and govern associated vendors and service providers.

    Assist in the establishment of Cloud technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and operating standards.

    Oversee solution design and implementation of applications as they are onboarded to cloud.

    Provide oversight to ensure automation is being used judiciously.

    Help develop API management strategies, such as service mesh and API gateway.

    Advocate for secure computing practices and procedures.

    Help develop and review documentation, which is relevant to Cloud implementers and users.

    Advocate for advanced analytics, monitor and alert to streamline efficiencies.

    Work closely with operations, governance, and enablement teams to drive coordination and collaboration across the organization.

    Collaborate closely with security, identity, and networking leaders to ensure those considerations are being properly utilized for cloud-based solutions.

    Foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity and promotes belonging and wellbeing.

    Assist with continuous evaluation and tuning cloud strategies


    REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solution.


    Must have experience with the following: providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, UAT, and stage environments; applying knowledge of multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; working with SQL/PLSQL, Unix, Shell, JavaScript, Html, CSS, Angular, and Eclipse; and using build tools and version control systems, including Maven, GIT, and Subversion.

    Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position.

    Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).


    SALARY:
    $142,563 to $235,100/year


    HOURS:
    9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday)
