    Description
    Job DescriptionOur client, a leading packaging company, is currently seeking an accomplished Packaging Engineer to join the team.

    Here is an overview of the role:1) Support the Account Director of the company customers in technical areas, such as packaging development, sustainability, retail approach, harmonization and supply chain optimization2) Develop and deliver the technical input to account strategies3) Develop, coordinate and implement innovative solutions to the technical requirements of customers in line with group capabilities4) Identify, coordinate and implement cost-take-out and value-added initiatives in line with the account strategy5) Ensure customer-focused support from other group resources6) Oversee and coordinate all customer-related activities carried out by other company specialists7) Minimize packaging material scrap, product scrap and product giveaway8) Work with Packaging operations and suppliers to troubleshoot packaging issues, maintain packaging quality, and optimize packing line efficiencies.9) Perform other duties as assignedCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.

    Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)3) Recent experience in the packaging industry is strongly preferred4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in packaging engineeringThis role is a great opportunity for the right person looking to advance their career with a wonderful company.
