Job summary

This job involves managing all aspects of the administrative and financial operations of the Williamson County Elections Office. It also includes serving as Elections Administrator in their absence.

This role is responsible for customer service, financial transactions, human resources, purchasing and payroll management. It also involves developing fiscal and administrative goals policies procedures prepares manages oversees department annual budgets collaborates with department divisions on budget needs including county state grant funds oversees Open Records Request ensures responses are in accordance with Public Information Act performs personnel management hiring termination employee recognition disciplinary action serves primary contact various state local agencies collecting information documents state local federal audits prepares delivers presentations on budget community outreach financial data internal external entities heads election department marketing print online collateral creation social media management content creation serves department website liaison updates changes reconciles approves timesheets payroll processing prepares submits agenda items Commissioners Court direction Elections Administrator performs purchasing coordination reconciliation oversight p-card use generating purchase requisitions processing invoices managing relationships suppliers liaison County A/P Purchasing departments preparation end-fiscal year reporting assists conducts financial audits spending reviews purchases orders requests manages accounts payable receivable tracking receipts treasury deposits balancing discrepancy resolutions managing spreadsheets office supply budget point contact internal county audits serves software administration software consistently utilized updated audited responds media request implements departments media request processes direction Elections Administrator develops Central Counting Station plan required Texas Election Code prior each election reports election results Secretary State primary general elections web portal prescribed State performs inventory control asset management creating complex inventory logs reports maintain identify elections department resources maintains tracks various financial documents invoices logs budget information oversees recordkeeping compliance regulations archival document retention policies procedures provides leadership expertise associated logistical budgetary concerns serves primary contact election Judges hotline assists complex issues Judges staff monitors multiple email accounts attends meetings trainings assigned performs special duties
