    Description

    Role: MongoDB Database Engineer

    Location: TX, NC, OH, IA, MN, MO, AZ – Onsite

    Job Type: W2 Position

    Job Description:

    Experience:

    ∙ Building and supporting a MongoDB Ops Manager environment

    ∙ Implementing Kerberos and/or LDAP authorization and authentication with MongoDB

    ∙ Supporting MongoDB databases scaled across data centers.

    ∙ Supporting MongoDB Shards.

    ∙ With Pearl and/or Java scripting

    ∙ With backup and restore of MongoDB databases using LVM snapshots and Ops Manager backups

    ∙ In writing MongoDB Schema using Mongos.

    ∙ With setting and tuning MongoDB system parameters

    ∙ With using MongoDB Ops Manager

    ∙ With Jira and Agile delivery

    Additionally:

    ∙ In-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets.

    ∙ In-depth understanding of Replication and HA strategies

    ∙ Terraform/Ansible experience.
