    Epic experience is a hard requirement

    Description:
    Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, CRT, and
    RRT.
    Skills required include adult critical care and management of respiratory disease processes.
    Experience in emergency departments, extubation, nasal airway placement, and oral airway placement is necessary.
    Familiarity with pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care/management is needed.
    Knowledge of aerosol therapies and medications such as albuterol, combivent, and racemic epinephrine is essential.
    Candidates should have experience with non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, and arterial blood gas draws and analysis.
    Participants will be managing patients with diagnoses such as emphysema and asthma.
    Experience in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation is important.
    Candidates must have experience with special equipment including Servo I and LTV 1200 ventilators.
    On-call shifts may be required, specifically on Friday nights from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
    Candidates will be floating between units as needed.
    Daily interactions with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, are expected.
    The respiratory therapy department focuses on both invasive and non-invasive techniques.
    A collaborative approach with interdisciplinary support will be part of the work environment.
    Familiarity with patient ratios and prior traveling experience is preferred.
    Candidates with prior charge experience may be considered favorably.
